Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu un 1er prix de trompette, puis un 1er prix de piano, il int\u00e8gre ensuite le Conservatoire de Nice, puis de Paris.<br \/>Il obtient entretemps le Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019Etat de Professeur de Trompette \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 19 ans.<br \/>Il joue en soliste avec l\u2019orchestre r\u00e9gional de Cannes le concerto pour trompette de Haydn en 1992 puis l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante le concerto pour piano en r\u00e9 mineur de Mozart.<br \/>Il enseigne de 1993 \u00e0 2003 au Conservatoire de Valbonne-Sophia Antipolis, o\u00f9 il cr\u00e9\u00e9 un orchestre d\u2019harmonie.<br \/>Il joue lors de nombreux concerts au sein de l\u2019Orchestre Philarmonique de Nice, l\u2019Orchestre R\u00e9gional de Cannes ou bien l\u2019Orchestre Philarmonique de Monte Carlo.<br \/>Participe avec divers orchestres \u00e0 de nombreuses tourn\u00e9es, USA, Canada, Norv\u00e8ge, Allemagne, Belgique, Italie, Martinique, Portugal, R\u00e9publique Tch\u00e8que, Pologne\u2026<br \/>Il int\u00e8gre parall\u00e8lement le Quintette de Cuivres \u00ab Accord \u00bb ainsi que l\u2019ensemble de Cuivres \u00ab Gabrieli \u00bb.<br \/>En 1996, il est appel\u00e9 \u00e0 enseigner au Conservatoire de Nice, tout d\u2019abord charg\u00e9 des ensembles de cuivres, puis de la classe de trompette, poste qu\u2019il occupe encore jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce jour.<br \/>Il cr\u00e9e en 2000 avec son ami G\u00e9rard Hostein le Brass Band M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et participe \u00e0 tous ses concerts et tourn\u00e9es de 2000 \u00e0 2010.<br \/>Il fonde le groupe de Soul Music \u00ab Soul Latitude \u00bb en 2002<br \/>Int\u00e8gre d\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation en 2002 le \u00ab Roland Ronchaud Big Band \u00bb puis le Nice Jazz Orchestra en 2008.<br \/>il cr\u00e9e et dirige de 2009 \u00e0 2015 l\u2019orchestre d\u2019harmonie du Conservatoire de Nice.<br \/>IL cr\u00e9e \u00e9galement en 2002 le collectif d\u2019Artistes \u00ab Jazz C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur \u00bb devenu en 2018 \u00ab AZUR MUSIC PRODUCTION \u00bb structure culturelle phare de la r\u00e9gion, qui promeut des projets artistiques locaux \u00e0 vocation nationale et internationale.
