des meilleurs batteurs fran\u00e7ais de notre \u00e9poque.<\/p><p>Il est n\u00e9 \u00e0 Nice en 1946, mais s\u2019est rendu \u00e0 Paris d\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e2ge de quatorze ans. Il a vraiment d\u00e9but\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son p\u00e8re au sein de l\u2019orchestre d\u2019 Aim\u00e9 Barelli au Casino du Sporting Club de Monaco. Les fins de semaine il se produit \u00e0 \u00bb L\u2019H\u00f4tel Royal \u00bb de Nice o\u00f9 il fait des Th\u00e9 Dansants. C\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019il est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 aux fr\u00e8res Roboly par l\u2019\u00e9pouse de \u00ab Jean Tosan \u00bb. Il participe suite \u00e0 leur demande, \u00e0 une r\u00e9p\u00e9tition du groupe de rock fran\u00e7ais Les Chats Sauvages qui cherche un batteur et est engag\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 16 ans en Mai 1962, il quittera le groupe en janvier 1964 pour aller rejoindre Claude Fran\u00e7ois. Apr\u00e8s avoir jou\u00e9 avec de nombreux artistes de vari\u00e9t\u00e9s, il se dirige vers le Jazz, ce qu\u2019il a toujours voulu faire depuis ses d\u00e9buts. Il \u00ab pige \u00bb avec les plus grands jazzmen de l\u2019\u00e9poque, tout en devenant un musicien de studio tr\u00e8s actif.<\/p><p>\u00c0 partir de la fin des ann\u00e9es 1960, il collabore avec l\u2019arrangeur et trompettiste Ivan Jullien avec qui il enregistre notamment l\u2019album Synthesis (1978). Il participe aussi au groupe \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re Troc (1972) avec Jannick Top et Alex Ligertwood et signe deux albums de style fusion, l\u2019un pour le label BINGOW enregistr\u00e9 entre 1972 et 1973, l\u2019autre pour le label Carla en 1977 (avec d\u2019anciens membres de Troc). En 1974, il est de l\u2019orchestre de Jean-Claude Naude et participe \u00e0 l\u2019album \u00ab A new kind of band \u00bb.<\/p><p>En 1979, il entame une carri\u00e8re aux \u00c9tats-Unis aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s Bunny Brunel et Chick Cor\u00e9a. Un probl\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 l\u2019oblige \u00e0 rentrer en France. Sa \u00ab convalescence \u00bb lui permettra de r\u00e9aliser chez lui un album tr\u00e8s personnel sorti en 1981 : \u00ab Ceccarelli \u00bb.
